Shenzhen Unitech Battery Limited R&D centre is established in September 2001 composed of research department, technical dept. and customer service centre. It has total 112 members with 3 post-graduate and 60 engineer staff graduating from college. 　　The research department mainly focuses on basic research and new product development for all series of Nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium, Lithium-ion, Lithium polymer, li-socl2、li-mn cylindrical and coin battery. Currently we’ve successfully developed Nickel Metal Hydride high capacity, high rate, super-high rate, high temperature, low temperature, low temperature & high rate discharge & low self-discharge battery. The technical department mainly focuses on maintenance and improvement of present production technique. 　　R&D centre is composed of test centre, Lab. centre and experiment centre. The test centre has professional performance test equipment for secondary battery including cycle life test machine for secondary battery, internal resistance test instruments, 3OA high rate test machine, 4OA high rate test machine, high/low temperature & humidly hot lab. Tank (from minus 40 centigrade to 150 centigrade), fire burn test equipment, vibration test machine, collision test equipment, drop test equipment etc. battery test facilities. The Lab. Centre has complete facilities and advanced test instruments which enables us to carry out basic electrochemistry research, material and high-precision ingredient analysis. It also has electrochemistry station, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, infrared spectrometer, surface test machine, laser machine, x-ray machine, scanning electron microscope, viscometer, conductivity meter and regular Lab. Instrument. The experiment centre can sampling secondary (nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium, Lithium-ion and Lithium Polymer), li-socl2、li-mn cylindrical and coin battery.
